A one-stop shop for all things beauty, the Professional Hair and Makeup Expo (PHAMExpo) which took place at the Pasadena Convention Center over the weekend opened its doors to nail artists and brands. Salon Fanatic was on location to scope out the latest nail trends. Here’s what we saw.

Doe Deere, CEO of the cult brand Lime Crime chatted with us about her neon pastel collection of three-free polish. After releasing the line inspired by Marie Antoinette’s confectionary delights about a year and a half ago, the blue haired beauty said new colors are definitely, “not out of the question.”

After writing about Static Nails, we were thrilled to meet the face behind the reusable nail tip brand, Alexis Irene. Gearing up to lock in a deal with major retailers, when asked about the stylish press-on tips, Irene guaranteed a five-day wear. She also recommended users to be generous with the nail glue for a longer lasting manicure.

Amazing Shine, founded in 2013 by Jackie Kim, has launched more than 20 products ranging from bold and flirty press-on lashes to nail art kits to embellishments that double as nail accessories and makeup bling.

Inglot Cosmetics, an international beauty brand presented its Exotic Summer Lagoon collection featuring six summer-ready hues.

At China Glaze’s  booth, the polish brand offered a plethora of its latest and greatest hues and duos.
