For today’s throwback, I present to you the beauty supply giant’s first ever store.
In 1964, the first Sally Beauty opened on Magazine Street in New Orleans. Today, Sally Beauty owns and operates more than 2,700 Sally Beauty Supply stores worldwide, including stores in every state in the United States, Puerto Rico, Canada, Mexico, Germany, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Belgium, France, and Spain. Not to mention its huge online store.
While I am a huge fan of online shopping, seeing this picture makes me a little wistful for a bygone era when a cute corner retail store that stocks exactly what you’re looking for.
