Christmas is just around the corner. It’s time to get your celebration on with this festive chevron nail art from SO Gel Nails’ nail tech Jayme Reber. She created this design using the brand’s new Glitter Red Chevron Striping Tape. Follow the steps below to get the look:
Step 1
1. Apply a base color. Reber used SO Gel Nails’ St. Patrick Green gel. Cure the base color (or let dry if you’re using regular polish).
Step 2
2. Place a piece of masking tape over the SO Gel Nails Glitter Red Chevron Striping Tape you have selected. This makes it easy to get even spacing between lines when you apply it to the nail. Peel the backing off the striping tape and lay it across the nail.
Step 3
3. Use scissors to trim the chevron striping tape to the desired length.
Step 4
4. Carefully pull the masking tape off and apply your top coat or builder gel.
