I was so fortunate to be invited to the Pre-Grammy Beauty Suite with LA Nail Coach Melissa Bozant and the Footnanny herself, Gloria Williams. Both manicurists were featured as competitors in E!’s pre-Grammy Nail-Off.
The day before the Grammys these nail professionals gathered in Los Angeles to host a press event and do some nails. The view at the party was spectacular and guests sipped on Xanté cocktails, one of the sponsors of the event. Azature polishes were lined up around the venue and Dashing Diva DesignFX were on hand for manicures. Bozant applied Dashing Diva’s The Finer Things in Life to my nails while we talked about the nails at Fashion Week and her interest in natural products.
Bozant’s passion is for nurturing the skin and returning to natural remedies to do so. Her mother has diabetes, so she is always mindful of her clients’ health. Williams also had on hand her Tea Tree Soy Foot Cream, which has an antibacterial, antifungal, and antiseptic effect on feet.
Both Bozant and Williams were excited to compete in E!’s Nail-Off and kick off National Nail Art Day on the Grammy red carpet. They revealed that the challenge was musically inspired, though they did not know which song would be used at the time. In addition, they knew they would get time to prep beforehand, but the rest would be a surprise. Check out this post to see Bozant’s resulting creation.
